FERY.

NAME, NICKNAME, BRAND.

The name Fery represents my philosophy at its core. Born out of a play on words between my last name and the word “fairy”, it describes the magical, fairytale-like stories I want to tell through made-to-measure silver crafts.

ABOUT ME, SARA CAPOFERRI

A silversmith/designer 2.0. I like to think of myself as a hybrid figure who creates unique and unrepeatable silver things, mixing artistic approach and a natural feeling for multimedia communication.

I was born in Desenzano and raised in and around Brescia. After a degree in Mass Communications with a Major in cinema, tv and Multimedia from the University of Bologna I began work as a copywriter for an advertising agency while continuing to follow my childhood passion, the creation of accessories with recycled materials. Eventually, lightning strikes and I decided to dedicate myself to my true vocation: silver.

Back in my native Franciacorta, I become a student once more. This time however, my professor was a master goldsmith and my subject silver. My specialization was the technique of piercing and sawing, or the art of “openwork”. I started working in a jeweler shop and making networks.

As soon as the collaborations and collections grew, in 2009-2010 I opened my lab.

Nel 2012 Asia Argento commissioned me the Cruzeiro pendant and the Queen Spoon that also Marilyn Manson wanted.

Literature, music, cinema and media are now the passions that inspire my works.
